Garbanzo beans with Coconut Salad


Garbanzo Beans        1 Cup or  1 Can
Garbanzo Beans
Grated Coconut        2 Tbsp.
Green/serrano chilli  1 No or Acc to taste.
Oil                   1 Tbsp.
Salt                  Acc to taste.
Mustard seeds         1 Tsp.
Lemon Juice           1 Tbsp or Acc to Taste.
Parseley/cilantro     AS Garnish.


If using dried beans soak it in water for 5-6 hours.
Pressure Cook for about 15-20 minutes or 1 Whistle.

If using canned beans drain & rinse with water.

Heat a pan/wok with oil & add mustard seeds & chilli.
When it starts spluttering , add beans,salt & stir.
When combined, switch off the flame , add coconut, mix.
Stir in lemon juice , Garnish & enjoy warm or cold or as a snack.
