Lentils with Raddish Leaves


Lenthils          1/2 Cup
Water             2 Cups.
Raddish Leaves    2 Bunches.
Onion medium      1 No Chopped to chunks.
Serrano Chilli    1 No or Acc to Taste.
Salt              Acc to taste.


Seasoning (optional)

Mustard seeds    1 Tsp.
Cumin            1 Tsp.
Garlic           1 Clove minced.
Red Chilli       1 No.
Oil/butter       2 Tsp.


Boil the water in a pan with Lenthils.
Add Onion Chunks,serrano & salt.
Seperate the Raddishes from the leaves & reserve.
Wash ,chop & add the leaves to the lenthils.
Allow everything to mix & cook till the lenthils are done.
Heat the oil/butter in another small pan & do the seasoning.
Add to the lenthils mixture & Serve as is as  or side dish for Rice.

 Variation :  Grind 1 Tsp of Coconut , 1 tsp of Cumin & 1/4 Tsp of Pepper corns 
to paste & add to the lenthils  & cook to mix everything.
