Potato Raita

Potatoes
Ingredients:  

2 medium sized grated boiled potatoes
Jeera  1 pinch
Oil  ½ spoon
1 small green chilly
Asafoetida[hing]  1 pinch
Curry leaves[kadipatta]
Yoghurt  4 tbspns.
Sugar  ½ spoon
salt  as per taste

For garnishing: 

Dalchini powder  1 pinch
Rock salt  1 pinch
Red chilli powder  1 pinch
Black pepper powder  1 pinch
 
Method :  

Mix the boiled grated potatoes with yoghurt, sugar and salt.
 In a kadai heat oil. Fry jeera till brown. 
Add green chilly, curry leaves and asafoetida. 
 Add the tadka on the potatoes. Garnish with the above garnishing. 
Serve chilled with parathas / rice.
