Yams - Candied

Yams

Ingredients:  

Yams Peeled & Sliced    2 Pounds.
Orange Juice Fresh      1/2 Cup.
Light Brown Sugar       1/2 Cup.
Powdered Cinnamon       1 Tsp.
Nutmeg                  A pinch.
Melted Margarine        1/4 Cup.
Chopped Nuts            1/4 Cup .          

Method :  

Preheat Oven to 375°f.
Combine well Juice,Sugar,Cinnamon,Nutmeg & Margarine.
Arrange the yams on a roung baking dish. 
Pour the juice mixture & stir well.
Bake covered till the yams are tender,about 40-45 minutes.
Stir in between to distribute the juice properly.
Sprinkle Nuts & bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
Serve Warm.
