Yam Fritters

Ingredients:  
Yams

Yams Peeled & cut into fingers.  2 Nos.
Oil for Deep Frying.

Paste :  

Yellow Split Peas             3/4 Cup.
Ginger,garlic piece           1 No.
Red Chilli peppers/flakes     To Taste.
Sugar                         1/2 Tsp.
Salt                          To Taste.

Soak the peas for an hour & grind everything to paste,
adding water,to the consistency of thick pan cake batter.

Method :  

Boil Yams in salted hot water for 10 minutes & drain.
Soak the yam in the Paste for 15 minutes.
Heat oil for frying. Deep fry the yams,
Few at a time on both sides till golden brown.
Enjoy  hot with Tomato Ketchup .
