Peas & Cheese Pilaf

Ingredients 

Basamti Rice         1 Cup
Green Peas Shelled   1/2 Cup
Peas
Onions               1 No. Chopped lengthwise.
Green Chilli Pepper  2 Nos minced (optional)
Salt                 Acc to taste
Oil/Margarine        2 Tbsp.
Grated Cheese        1/2 Cup.
Bay Leaf             1 No.
Cinnamon             1 inch stick.
Pepper Corns         Few.
Cloves               2 Nos.
Water                2 Cups.


Method   

Heat a pan or Rice Cooker with oil/margarine.
Add the spices, onions & fry till translucent.
Mix in the Peas stir , add Rice & combine to mix.
Add water & cover with a tight lid & cook till rice is soft.
Sprinkle the cheese on top & serve hot .
